Beat The Bully / Bully Buster
At the Gravesend Martial Arts Academy we pride ourselves on teaching children how to protect themselves in the playground or on the street,
We show them effective techniques that can be used if and when necessary, we teach them how to use their voices in order to attract attention of a school teacher, parent or member of the public.
We teach these anti-bullying tatics buy using role play and playing games.
We also have "Talk Time" which allows the children to express themeselves about topics such as bullying and how they deal with it.
These princepls are Taught as part of a regular class but we also hold day courses to cover these topics more indepth.
Stranger Danger Workshops
This is a course specifically designed to teach the children that not everyone can be trusted, and that
"if you don't know, then don't go!!"
We all know that children are too trusting of adults and we aim to show them how they can tell when the
"Stranger Means Danger"
We will also show them useful self defence techniques and vocal expression in order to attract attention.
